What does your job involve?

I head up Business Development which involves driving business strategy, developing products & services and supporting our employees, to help ART grow and prosper in-line with our mission and values.

My key areas of responsibility include: Leading Sales and Marketing activities to generate new business; Account management of existing clients ensuring our products and services deliver maximum impact and value; Technology strategy development enhancing the products & services we offer and integrating technology into these solutions; Leading Human Resources to provide our team with ongoing support helping them to develop and feel happy, healthy and valued in their roles.

What experience do you bring to ART?

I hold a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Injury Prevention & Human Movement analysis. I possess extensive experience in the sports science and wellbeing industries having worked in lecturing, research and applied positions throughout my career.

Prior to ART, I most recently worked as a Senior Scientist in Exercise Physiology & Movement Analysis at the GSK Human Performance Lab. This included working with elite athletes to better understand human health & performance, disseminating findings back to the wider business. I have strong business development experience having previously operated my own company in the leisure industry, which sold after four successful years of operation.

What do you like most about working at ART?

There are three things I enjoy most. Firstly, the work is very varied, which brings its own challenges but also drives me and leads to continuous learning and improvement. Secondly, our clients offer us a great opportunity to fully understand their business and their employees. Each client is unique and we have to adapt to provide services of real value. Lastly, the team at ART are fantastic and create a great daily working experience. We challenge each other to deliver a top quality service but also have fun and support one another, creating a healthy and effective working environment.
